Ultra Chemical (stand 811) is highlighting new in vivo data around natural prebiotics and the impact they have on the microbiota of acne prone skin and the microbiota of skin exposed to UV.

Ultra's supplier, Gobiotics, performed clinical studies which demonstrate how prebiotics preBiulin AGA and preBiulin FOS help restore the skin micro­biota after disruption from a harsh facial wash and serve as a protectant against problematic microorganisms associated with acne.

Gibiotics also showed how preBiulin AGA helps restore the skin microbiota back to its original state after disruption from UV exposure. These results for both acne prone skin and skin which has been exposed to UV is due to the inulin feeding select beneficial organisms of the microbiota, which in turn provide food to others, restoring the microbiota’s balance.
